Personal certification

Personal certification is a continuous quality measurement of a person's personal professional competence. A personal certificate is based on the requirements of a certification scheme (also called a standard or assessment guideline). This describes the requirements for the (future) certificate holder and relevant parties, for example that the certificate holder completes continuing education or takes another exam within a certain period of time.

Personal certification is not only often a requirement, but also offers numerous other advantages. Proof of competence, greater recognition in the market, potential improvement of one's professional career and independent recognition of skills.
