Job Summary

Kiwa UK is looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Director to join our team. Reporting to the UK CEO, you will provide strategic leadership across sales and marketing, ensuring activity is aligned to business objectives and customer priorities. You will lead sales performance, market engagement, and key customer relationships. This is a UK based remote role with frequent travel.

About the role

  • Set and deliver the company’s commercial vision, defining and executing the sales and marketing strategy to drive sustainable revenue, margin, and growth
  • Build and lead a high‑performing sales organisation with clear targets, KPIs, accountability, and governance
  • Improve pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, conversion rates, and CRM discipline, supported by consistent sales methodologies and performance dashboards
  • Lead and develop Sales, Account Management, and Business Development teams, building capability and coaching leaders across the organisation
  • Design and implement a structured Key Account Management framework, developing strategic accounts, driving retention, and enabling cross‑selling and long‑term partnerships
  • Identify and prioritise target markets, sectors, customer segments, and new growth opportunities aligned to business objectives
  • Strengthen customer relationships and customer experience across the full lifecycle
  • Act as the link between Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure commercial commitments align with operational delivery and customer outcomes
  • Lead the marketing function with a focus on demand generation, digital channels, brand positioning, solution marketing, and measurable ROI
  • Oversee market intelligence, competitor analysis, content, PR, and thought leadership to inform strategic decision‑making
  • Partner with M&A to integrate acquisitions into the commercial model, aligning pricing, sales processes, and go‑to‑market approaches while unlocking revenue synergies
  • Contribute as a member of the Leadership Team, providing commercial insight and supporting long‑term strategic planning, digitalisation, and data‑led decision‑making
  • Foster a high‑performance, collaborative, customer‑centric culture aligned to the new operating model

Do you have what it takes?

  • Significant leadership experience across Sales, Marketing, Commercial Strategy, or a combined commercial function
  • Proven success leading commercial teams through transformation
  • Strong financial acumen including pricing, profitability, forecasting, and commercial ROI
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver successful go‑to‑market strategies
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience in regulated, technical, or B2B service environments is advantageous
  • Resilient and change‑ready, with the ability to lead teams through transition
  • Strategic thinker who can balance long‑term vision with day‑to‑day execution
  • Collaborative leadership style with strong influence across senior stakeholders
  • Customer‑focused, data‑driven, and commercially astute

What can you expect from us in return?

  • £100,000 - £110,000 per annum
