Job Summary

Kiwa is one of the world's fastest-growing organizations in inspection, testing, certification, and technical consulting and our global expansion through M&A means our IT organization is constantly at the forefront of complex, large-scale integration projects. We are looking for an IT Technical Project Manager who grew up in IT, speaks the language of engineers, and has the strategic mindset to manage complex migrations and technology integrations end-to-end. This is not a "pure" administrative PM role. You will be the single point of accountability across parallel workstreams; Workplace & Identity, Infrastructure, and Applications bridging the gap between technical specialists, global vendors, and senior business stakeholders. You will thrive here if you enjoy a flat, consensus-oriented culture and can navigate the complexities of a geographically dispersed, multi-country organization. The Position based in the Netherlands, with legal authorization to work in the NL Primary location: Rijswijk (Kiwa Global IT HQ), with occasional international travel as required

About the role

Technical Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead the migration of identities, applications, and infrastructure from on-premises/legacy environments to the Microsoft Azure Stack (Entra ID, AVD, M365, IaaS)
  • Own end-to-end execution of migration waves using a persona-based, department-by-department cutover approach, ensuring business continuity at every step
  • Oversee the assessment of SaaS applications and on-premises servers
  • Apply a Value vs. Effort prioritization framework
  • Ensure rollback plans are in place and validated before every wave cutover

M&A Integration & Vendor Management

  • Manage the technical onboarding of newly acquired companies into Kiwa's global IT ecosystem — covering identity federation, Cross-Tenant Sync, file share transitions, device management, and application migration
  • Act as primary contract point for external vendors and system integrators across infrastructure, M365 migration, and identity workstreams
  • Chair weekly vendor delivery meetings; hold vendors accountable to agreed scope, milestones, and budgetary constraints
  • Coordinate Microsoft engagement for licensing, Entra ID configuration, and cloud tooling setup

Project/Program Governance & Stakeholder Management

  • Own the integrated master project/program plan across all workstreams, maintaining the risk register, issue log, and decision log
  • Report progress regularly to IT SteerCo and executive-level Integration SteerCo
  • Prepare board-level decision memos on critical unresolved technical and architectural issues
  • Coordinate with the CISO on security approvals — firewall rules, Conditional Access policies, data collector tooling
  • Apply PRINCE2 or PMP methodologies for documentation, risk management, and reporting standards
  • Use OKRs to track project outcomes and ensure delivery drives measurable business value

Do you have what it takes?

Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years in IT Project Management, with a focus on infrastructure and digital transformation
  • Track record in M&A IT integration — at least one full-cycle tenant-to-tenant or domain migration delivered end-to-end
  • Background in ITOps — servers, Active Directory, on-premises and cloud applications, legacy systems
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple specialist vendors simultaneously within a single programme

Technical Literacy

You don't need to execute the technical work, but you must understand it well enough to validate plans, spot risks, and challenge vendors:

  • Azure / Entra ID: tenants, Cross-Tenant Sync, federation, UPNs, managed vs. federated identities
  • M365 workloads: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive — and what migrating each actually involves
  • Infrastructure: on-prem vs. IaaS/PaaS, Azure Virtual Desktop, DFS file shares, AD forests and trusts
  • Migration methodology: the 6 Rs framework
  • Device management: Intune, Autopilot, device reimaging and deployment

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and "diplomatic" skills — able to build consensus in a flat hierarchy without relying on top-down authority
  • Fluent in English
  • Confident presenting to C-level stakeholders (CIO, CISO) and equally at ease with technical engineers
  • Structured thinker able to maintain clarity and momentum across a high-volume, multi-threaded projects
  • Calm under pressure with hard, non-negotiable project deadlines
