Job Summary
Are you looking for an interesting Group Business Controller position within a highly ambitious international company in Testing, Inspection and Certification? Do you aspire to take responsibility for the financial planning, reporting and performance analysis across our very international group to support strategic decision-making and to enable business growth? Then you might well be Kiwa’s new Group Business Controller based in Rijswijk, the Netherlands.About the role
Kiwa is a rapidly growing TIC organization with more than. 12,300 FTE worldwide and a total revenue of € 1.7 billion. Kiwa has highly ambitious growth plans, and as a Group Business Controller we expect you to be part of this growth. You will contribute to financial oversight and strategic support by professionalizing reporting and forecasting processes, analyzing performance across regions and countries and provide actionable insights to leadership to guide growth decisions. You will have a pivotal role in effective financial planning and analysis and performance management, and provide finance and business expertise for various topics (e.g. working capital, investments). You will work in a team of 4 FTE and collaborate closely with the broader Corporate Finance team of more than 25 colleagues and regional/local finance teams and with local management all around the globe.
Your responsibilities
- Lead, together with your colleagues of the Group Business Control Team, the global financial planning & control and reporting processes, but also continuously professionalize budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling tools that can scale with the business;
- Serve as the primary finance contact for all Spanish-speaking but also other countries within Kiwa, supporting local teams on financial planning, reporting, growth initiatives and other financial matters;
- Develop meaningful KPI’s and reporting on business performance, providing deep insight and fact based analysis;
- Support the process for monthly reporting and quarterly forecasting, as well as the preparation of gap analysis;
- Support working capital management by analyzing working capital drivers (work in progress, aged receivables), and coordinate with local finance teams to ensure efficient use of capital;
- Identify financial business risks and opportunities as well as opportunities for process optimization;
- Interact with various other Finance departments such as Accounting, Tax and Internal Control;
- Review and challenge investment proposals and business cases to ensure financial soundness, and strategic fit before submission to senior management;
- Be the sparring partner for the CFO, Corporate Finance Director and other senior stakeholders, and provide financial reports regularly to this audience;
- Present your findings and proposals for decision making to regional Management and the Kiwa Board and other relevant stakeholders;
- Contribute to the development of a Business Intelligence environment, working on IT-tooling suitable for Kiwa.

What background you need
For this position, we would like you to bring these educational and personal skills:
- Master or Bachelor in Finance or another relevant area;
- About 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar position, preferably at a Big 4 firm or alternatively in a corporate environment or PE-setting;
- You are a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English (speaking and writing), Dutch proficiency is an advantage, but not required for this role;
- You are analytical and you have a long term overview;
- You are proactive, can anticipate business needs and take initiatives;
- You have attention for detail, the ability to cope with high pressure assignments and are used to meeting strict deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy;
- You have extensive data analysis skills, and are proficient in Ms. Excel, PowerPoint and other BI tools;
- You are a team player, with a strong ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams, whilst fostering a cooperative and healthy working environment;
- You are based in the Netherlands and are entitled to work here.

In this full-time (36-40 hours) role, you will work for Kiwa, headquartered in Rijswijk, the Netherlands. As a member of the Group Business Control, you will work for and report to the Head of Group Business Control.
