¿Qué?
La Mesa Redonda de Aceite de Palma Sostenible (RSPO por su sigla en inglés) es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro que reúne a diversos actores en la cadena de valor palmera, con el objetivo de promover la producción y uso de aceite de palma con criterios de sostenibilidad ambiental, social y económica. La RSPO es la iniciativa más reconocida en el ámbito internacional en materia de sostenibilidad para el sector.
¿Cuándo es adecuado?
Estándar de certificación de la cadena de suministro: Este estándar describe los requerimientos para garantizar el control y trazabilidad del aceite de palma certificado, sus derivados y productos a lo largo de la cadena de valor, desde la planta de beneficio hasta el usuario final.

What is RSPO?
The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is a non-profit association that brings together various actors in the palm oil value chain, with the aim of promoting the production and use of palm oil with environmental, social and economic sustainability criteria. The RSPO is the most internationally recognized sustainability initiative for the sector.
When is it suitable?
Supply chain certification standard: This standard describes the requirements to guarantee the control and traceability of certified palm oil, its derivatives and products throughout the value chain, from the processing plant to the end user.
